Overview Heritage Health Care is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee clinical operations, support nursing staff, and ensure the delivery of exceptional care. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a background in education administration within healthcare settings, and a passion for fostering a collaborative and compliant environment. Duties Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing policies that promote high standards of patient care and safety. Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring effective team management and professional development. Oversee staffing schedules, budgeting processes, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency. Support compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards through regular audits and staff training. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans that meet individual needs. Participate in strategic planning initiatives aimed at improving quality outcomes and operational excellence. Facilitate educational programs for nursing staff to enhance clinical skills and promote continuous learning. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher; a Master's degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred. Valid nursing license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards. Proven management experience within a healthcare or senior care environment, with familiarity in education administration or teaching roles preferred. Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate teams and foster a positive work culture. Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management to support operational goals. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance practices. Experience working within a university or academic healthcare setting is considered an asset.
