Job Description

Director of Nursing oversees nursing operations for a 13‑week assignment in a long‑term care facility in Dodge City, Kansas, ensuring high‑quality resident care and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to long‑term care residents Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the nursing department to maintain high‑quality patient care Ensure accurate documentation of resident care activities and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident well‑being and optimize care outcomes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited institution RN license in Kansas BLS certification CPR certification Minimum 1 year experience in long‑term care or nursing leadership roles Ability to work a flexible schedule within specified hours Strong leadership and communication skills Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
