$90,000 - $110,000 annually About the Role Are you a visionary nurse leader passionate about exceptional patient care and staff development? Join our dynamic team as the Director of Nursing (DON) at a leading Louisville rehabilitation and healthcare center. In this pivotal role, you'll drive excellence in long-term care, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes while supporting a thriving, collaborative nursing team. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing department Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure performance and compliance with care standards Oversee recruitment, retention, and ongoing training of nursing personnel Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality resident care Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement personalized care plans Ensure optimal patient care outcomes through evidence-based practices Address and resolve patient or family concerns promptly and compassionately Manage departmental budgets, staffing schedules, and resources Participate in facility leadership meetings and contribute to operational goals Serve as a liaison between administration, staff, residents, and families Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's preferred Current RN license in Kentucky Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off (PTO) starting day one Supplemental insurance options Pay-in-lieu-of-benefits option available Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Discounts on premium amenities and services On-demand pay options Why Join Us Work in a supportive environment prioritizing team well-being and work-life balance Be part of a growing, mission-driven healthcare network Make a meaningful impact in long-term care with a collaborative team
