Growth Opportunities Director of Nursing Duties:
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Manage and coordinate nursing schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to resident care
  • Oversee the implementation of resident care plans and ensure they are updated as needed
  • Monitor and assess resident health status, identifying any changes or concerns
  • Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to residents
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in nursing administration
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing administration or a related role, with 1 year experience in a Rehabilitation Hospital
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Familiarity with resident rights and regulations governing post acute care facilities
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records systems
