The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for education and leadership within a healthcare setting. As ADON, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring high standards of patient care, and fostering a collaborative team environment. This position offers an opportunity to influence clinical practices while contributing to the growth and development of our nursing staff. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations across the facility, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies. Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to nursing staff, promoting professional development and maintaining high-quality patient care standards. Support strategic planning initiatives aimed at improving clinical outcomes and operational efficiency within the nursing department. Participate in budgeting processes by monitoring staffing levels, supply usage, and other resource allocations to optimize departmental performance. Oversee education programs for nursing staff, including orientation, ongoing training, and compliance with licensing requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that meet residents' health needs. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with current state certification required. Proven management experience within a healthcare or long-term care setting; prior leadership roles preferred. Experience in staff development and training within a healthcare environment is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to delivering compassionate patient care while supporting staff development initiatives.
