Job Description

RegalCare at Holyoke is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing Services (DNS) to join our leadership team. We are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility committed to providing high-quality care with compassion, respect, and excellence.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the nursing department to ensure the highest standards of resident care. Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures in compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations. Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to foster a positive and professional work environment. Collaborate with physicians, staff, residents, and families to promote effective communication and care planning. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and clinical services. Monitor quality assurance, infection control, and risk management programs. Participate in survey readiness and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts (required). Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing management experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care. Commitment to resident-centered care and team development.
