Job Description

Interim to possible hire As Director of Nursing, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing all nursing operations and ensuring the highest standards of care throughout the center.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff Ensuring quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes Overseeing staffing, regulatory compliance, and clinical programs Collaborating with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams Promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care Driving quality improvement initiatives and survey readiness What We're Looking For Active, unencumbered Massachusetts RN license Current CPR certification Nursing degree from an accredited college or university Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience At least 1 year of long-term care experience Prior supervisory or nursing leadership experience Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills Experience with rehabilitative and restorative nursing preferred Qualifications Proven experience in nursing home administration or management within assisted living or similar healthcare environments Extensive background in nursing practice with knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or nurse management experience Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used in healthcare settings for documentation review and medical records management Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards related to medical records and patient confidentiality Knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes related to care plans and billing Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across shifts effectively Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, staff, and external agencies in a professional manner If you are an experienced nursing leader committed to delivering compassionate care while managing operational excellence during an interim period, we encourage you to apply.
