Director of Nursing (DON) Complete Care at Hagerstown is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and help drive the next chapter of success for our facility. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned nursing leader who thrives in turnaround environments and has a demonstrated history of improving quality outcomes, strengthening survey performance, developing clinical teams, and building a culture of accountability. Our 170-bed skilled nursing facility currently maintains an average census in the 80s, presenting significant opportunity for growth and operational improvement. We are looking for a leader who sees potential, embraces challenges, and is committed to delivering exceptional resident care. Qualifications of Director of Nursing (DON) Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact required Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility Proven success leading clinical turnarounds and improving facility performance Strong history of positive state survey outcomes and regulatory compliance Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and retain nursing staff Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, quality measures, infection prevention, and clinical reimbursement processes Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all nursing operations Drive clinical excellence and ensure delivery of high-quality resident care Lead regulatory readiness efforts and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local requirements Analyze quality metrics and implement action plans to improve outcomes Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing nursing leaders and staff Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident satisfaction and clinical results Manage staffing, budgeting, and clinical resource allocation Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement What We Offer Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within a growing organization Supportive regional leadership team committed to clinical excellence Join a team that recognizes the impact strong clinical leadership can have on residents, staff, and the overall success of a facility.
