Director of Nursing (DON)About the Role We are seeking a Director of Nursing who is both a confident clinical leader and a collaborative team builder — someone who takes ownership, leads with integrity, and genuinely enjoys being part of a strong, supportive leadership team. What You'll Do Lead and support the nursing team with a hands-on, visible leadership style Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment where staff feel supported and heard Ensure excellence in clinical care, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes Partner closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary leaders to drive performance and engagement Mentor, develop, and empower nurse leaders to grow professionally and personally Identify opportunities for improvement and proactively implement thoughtful, sustainable solutions Who We're Looking For A motivated self-starter who takes initiative and follows through A true team player who values collaboration and shared success A leader who believes strong culture drives strong outcomes — and acts accordingly Someone who balances warmth and approachability with clear expectations and accountability A DON who wants to be part of a leadership team that supports one another and works toward common goals Qualifications Current RN license in the State of Michigan Previous DON or nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Strong knowledge of clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and survey readiness Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills Why Join Us?
