  • Full-time, Contract Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and driven Nursing School Program Director to lead the development, accreditation, and daily operations of our nursing education program.
This role is responsible for ensuring academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and the successful training of future nurses through a structured, high-quality curriculum. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a background in nursing education, program development, and compliance with state and federal guidelines. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the nursing program, including curriculum development, faculty management, and student outcomes Ensure compliance with Michigan Board of Nursing , state regulations , and accreditation standards (e.g., Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education if applicable) Develop and implement policies, procedures, and program objectives aligned with industry standards Lead accreditation and approval processes for
CNA/LPN/RN
programs Recruit, train, and supervise nursing faculty and administrative staff Monitor student performance, retention rates, and licensure exam pass rates Establish partnerships with clinical sites, hospitals, and healthcare organizations Ensure proper documentation and reporting for audits and compliance reviews Manage program budgets, resources, and operational efficiency Promote the program through community outreach, marketing, and partnerships Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan (required) Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree (MSN or higher) strongly preferred Minimum 3-5 years of experience in nursing education or academic leadership Experience with program accreditation and regulatory compliance Strong knowledge of curriculum development and adult learning principles Leadership experience managing faculty or clinical teams Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience launching or scaling a nursing or CNA training program Familiarity with clinical partnerships and healthcare systems Experience with LMS platforms and hybrid/online learning models Background in workforce development or healthcare training programs Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Performance-based incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Professional development and continuing education support
Compensation & Reimbursement Structure:
This position operates under a 65/35 reimbursement split structure, with the clinician receiving 65% of collected reimbursement for clinical services rendered and the practice retaining 35%. This structure is intended to support administrative operations, billing, credentialing support, office space, referral infrastructure, scheduling systems, EHR access, and overall practice operations. Because this is a Michigan LLP position requiring supervision under a fully licensed psychologist, all LLP clinicians are required to participate in ongoing clinical supervision in accordance with state licensing requirements and practice standards. Mandatory supervision is billed separately at a rate of $110 per supervision session/hour. This supervision includes clinical oversight, case consultation, documentation review, professional guidance, and supervisory sign-off responsibilities required for LLP practice. Supervisory review and co-signature of clinical documentation are part of the supervisory process and are required for LLP clinicians practicing within the group. This structure is intended to maintain appropriate ethical, legal, and clinical standards while supporting clinician growth and quality patient care.
