Job Description
We are looking for an Interim DON to help support our King Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for a 4-6-week assessment. Be a light — to residents, families, and your team members. What You'll Do Provide overall leadership and management of the nursing department Plan, develop, implement, and maintain nursing services in accordance with policies and regulations Oversee resident discharge planning and coordination of care transitions Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation and charting Monitor quality of care and promote best clinical practices Participate in surveys, audits, and inspections conducted by regulatory agencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary leadership to support resident care and operational success What You Bring Current Registered Nurse (RN) state license; BSN preferred Current CPR Certification 5+ years of long-term care nursing experience 3+ years of nursing leadership or management experience in long-term care preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Positive, dependable, and solution-oriented leadership style Excellent attendance and professional reliability Why Atrium Centers "Our mission is to serve as a bright light in the lives of our residents and families by delivering compassionate, quality care in the communities they call home."
