SHORT STAY
at Lakehouse! Position Summary The Short Stay Director of Nursing oversees the clinical systems for approximately half of the residents within the facility, primarily those receiving short-term rehabilitation services. This position drives quality outcomes, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes accountability across the nursing department. The Short Stay Director of Nursing reports directly to the Senior Director of Clinical Services . Key Responsibilities Oversee the clinical systems and care delivery for the short-stay resident population. Drive Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives and monitor Quality Measures (QMs) to achieve strong clinical outcomes. Lead survey readiness and preparation , ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Manage OHFC risk management processes and maintain accountability within the nursing department. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and high-quality resident experiences. Support and mentor nursing staff to maintain excellent clinical performance and resident-centered care. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Previous leadership experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, clinical systems, and quality measures. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and clinical oversight. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
