We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team and support our Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations.Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists in managing the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of excellent resident care, and maintaining regulatory compliance. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a dedication to staff development and resident satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
Support the Director of Nursing in daily operations and clinical oversight Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure quality care and compliance Assist with recruitment, training, and staff evaluations Oversee infection control, wound care, and quality assurance initiatives Monitor care plans and ensure accurate, timely documentation Participate in surveys and audits, and help develop plans of correction Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff Serve as a resource and role model for clinical staffQualifications:
Current, valid RN license in the state of Minnesota Minimum of 2 years nursing leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting Strong understanding of federal and state regulations (CMS, OBRA) Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to lead by example and promote a positive team culture Commitment to resident-centered care and clinical excellenceBenefits:
