Director of Nursing - Interim

Job Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Interim Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team with professionalism and expertise during a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will possess previous manager, lead or DON experience. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with a comprehensive understanding of clinical operations, compliance standards, and resident-centered care. As the Interim Director of Nursing, you will oversee daily nursing functions, ensure quality care delivery, and maintain regulatory adherence while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. About the Job 6 Month travel contract in Minnesota 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (40 hrs per week) Holidays and weekends as needed Previous LTC experience

REQUIRED

Duties Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing operations, ensuring high standards of resident care and staff performance. Develop, review, and update care plans tailored to individual resident needs, incorporating medical terminology and physiology knowledge. Supervise nursing staff, including nurse management and shift management, promoting professional development and accountability. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of medical records in accordance with privacy standards. Oversee documentation review processes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate services such as hospice care, acute care, home health, and home care programs. Review medical records and documentation regularly to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and quality assurance protocols.

Requirements:

AHA BLS MN RN

License 2+ years of geriatric nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years in a LTC facility Previous manager, lead or DON experience preferred

From $3,046.00 per week
