Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and highly-motivated Director of Nursing to lead our nursing department with passion and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Your leadership will drive excellence in clinical practices, staff development, and compliance, shaping the future of our healthcare services. Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day nursing operations and clinical services Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Ensure compliance with CMS regulations, state guidelines, and company policies Monitor resident care plans, clinical outcomes, and quality assurance initiatives Manage staffing schedules and assist with recruitment and retention efforts Collaborate with physicians, therapy staff, residents, and families regarding care needs Lead survey preparedness and participate in state/federal surveys Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-centered environment for residents and staff
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the State of Missouri required Previous leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred Strong knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and clinical practices Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment Compassionate leadership style with a commitment to quality resident care
