We are a team of dedicated caring professionals striving to provide top quality care and an environment for our patients, residents, and families to thrive. Skyland Terrace and Rehabilitation is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our new and growing team of compassionate caring professionals, A caring professional with current registered nurse license, a passion for providing care to others , a desire personal and professional growth. Responsibilities:
The Assistant Director Of Nursing (ADON) assist in directing the staff and operation of the nursing department; coordinates, plans and manages nursing department activities; formulates programs goals and objectives; makes staff assignments; assists in the development of related policy; interprets and administers pertinent laws; evaluates staff; prepares or assists in the preparation of the department budget; assist in maintaining contacts with individuals both within and outside of the department who might impact on program activities; participates in the recruitment and retention programs; protects human and civil rights of both residents/clients and staff; recommends disciplinary action; reviews and submits all periodic nursing reports; may represent the facility in meetings of professional or community organizations; may be appointed to standing committees; may participate in research activities; performs related duties as required. Assumes the responsibility of the Director of Nursing when needed.
