Job Description

Alliance Health Group is seeking an Interim/Floating Nursing Home Director of Nursing .
Reports To:
Regional Nurse Consultant and Chief Clinical & Regulatory Office Position Type:
Full-Time The Interim/Floating Director of Nursing provides critical leadership and clinical support across our portfolio of long-term care facilities. This position is responsible for stepping into various nursing home locations as needed, either as an interim director of nursing during vacancies or to assist/lead in special projects. The role requires flexibility, a comprehensive understanding of long-term care clinical operations, and the ability to adapt quickly to various organizational cultures and operational structures. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Step into nursing home Director of Nursing roles on a temporary basis to ensure seamless clinical operations during transitions, vacancies, or planned leaves of absence. Manage daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including state and federal guidelines. Oversee clinical staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Maintain the quality of care for residents, addressing any issues or concerns that arise. Ensure effective communication between leadership, staff, residents, and families. Review and enforce policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of care and operations. Coordinate with other department heads to address needs.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities. Lead facility audits and inspections, preparing for and addressing any deficiencies.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience as a Nursing Home Director of Nursing Experience managing clinical operations in multiple facilities or settings is highly desirable. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to navigate complex situations with tact and diplomacy Proven ability to manage staff and build effective teams Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations Flexibility to travel between facilities as needed This role is ideal for an experienced Nursing Home Director of Nursing who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoys the challenge of providing leadership support across multiple locations.
