Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director/Administrator to lead our skilled nursing facility with passion and strategic vision. This vital role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional resident care, and fostering a positive environment for staff and residents alike. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in long-term care, nursing home management, and senior care services, with a focus on creating a compassionate, efficient, and compliant facility. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while driving operational excellence. Duties Provide overall leadership and direction for facility operations. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS requirements. Foster a culture of resident-centered care, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement. Lead, mentor, and develop department managers and staff. Manage facility budgets, financial performance, and operational goals. Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, physicians, referral sources, and community partners. Drive census growth and support business development efforts. Ensure appropriate staffing levels and employee engagement. Collaborate with clinical leadership to achieve exceptional resident outcomes Building and empowering high quality leaders and teams Qualifications Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA/LNHA) license Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred Proven leadership experience in senior care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or group homes with supervisory responsibilities Strong background in successfully managing budgets, financial acumen, and operational management within healthcare environments Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments Familiarity with regulatory requirements for nursing home licensing and compliance standards Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment Ability to handle complex situations with professionalism while maintaining focus on resident safety and satisfaction Who We Are Nova Health Services is a management consulting company that specializes in supporting Skilled Nursing Facilities and their leaders to obtain sustainable success in operations, culture, and clinical outcomes.
