Job Description

A growing and well-established skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), RN to join our leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader looking to take the next step in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can drive clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, staff development, and quality outcomes . Must have previous experience in a skilled nursing environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations Supervise, support, and develop nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and survey readiness Monitor and improve clinical outcomes, QA/QAPI, and infection control Participate in audits, care plans, and performance improvement initiatives Help manage staffing, scheduling, and call-outs Act as a resource and leader on the floor as needed
Qualifications:
Active RN license (required) Prior ADON, Unit Manager, or Nurse Supervisor experience in skilled nursing / long-term care Strong knowledge of survey process and regulatory compliance Experience with QAPI, infection control, and clinical audits Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
