About the
Role:
As Resident Wellness Director (Director of Nursing) , you will be at the heart of our community's health and wellness operations. This role requires a strong leader who can inspire, guide, and develop a care team while also ensuring accountability, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of caregivers and clinical staff with a focus on performance, engagement, and accountability. Conduct and oversee individualized resident assessments and develop personalized Service Plans. Provide leadership in daily operations and help enforce standards of care and professionalism. Mentor and develop team members through coaching, evaluations, and recognition. Collaborate with families and external healthcare providers to coordinate care. Monitor compliance with infection control practices and maintain accurate documentation. Ensure timely communication and proactive problem-solving in clinical matters. Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Licensure:
Active RN license.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in long-term care, healthcare management, or a related leadership role.
Leadership:
Demonstrated experience managing teams, providing feedback, and holding others accountable in a respectful and effective way.
Skills:
Excellent communication, strong organization, sound clinical judgment, and a compassionate, resident-centered approach.
Training & Development:
Lead onboarding and training of clinical staff. Ensure ongoing education and coaching that supports quality care and team growth.
