Full-Time Join Our Leadership Team We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department of our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Maple Shade, New Jersey. The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing services department to ensure the highest quality of resident care while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing leader who is passionate about clinical excellence, staff development, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care. Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee all nursing operations within the facility. Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care and clinical outcomes. Maintain compliance with CMS, New Jersey Department of Health, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and clinical programs. Recruit, mentor, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff, including Nurse Managers, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and quality care. Monitor infection prevention and control programs. Collaborate with the Medical Director, Administrator, interdisciplinary team, residents, and families. Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives. Oversee incident investigations, corrective action plans, and risk management activities. Participate in survey preparation and respond effectively during regulatory inspections. Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey. Minimum of 1-5 years of nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting. Previous experience as a Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or Nurse Manager preferred. Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, NJ Department of Health requirements, and survey processes. Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team-building skills. Experience with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
