Assistant Director of Nursing ADON RN OptimaCare - 5.0 Secaucus, NJ Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Referral program Qualifications RN License Long-term care facility experience Full Job Description Optima Care Fountains, a 334 bed-skilled nursing facility in Secaucus, New Jersey, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON RN) to assist and participate in the development, organization and implementation of the philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures and standards of nursing care in accordance with regulation and with the Center's goals.

Additional responsibilities include:

working closely with the director of nursing to assess the quality of nursing care being delivered and make improvements or changes to the Center's nursing practices accordingly evaluating resident care, individual employees' progress and general nursing practices daily and ensuring that the Center adheres to all codes and policies operating in accordance with the legal aspects of nursing and all federal and state regulations assisting in conducting employees' performance reviews ensuring that MDS and resident care plans are completed in a timely manner and comply with all nursing Center/regulatory policies

ADON RN JOB REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current registered nurse licensure by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing; BSN is preferred Minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience Minimum of two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing Minimum of one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity is preferred
