Director of Nursing

Director of Nursing - Nursing Home in Vineland, NJ We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our dedicated leadership team at our skilled nursing facility in Vineland, New Jersey . The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for resident-centered care and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in clinical excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all nursing operations within the facility. Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and procedures to ensure quality resident care. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote professional growth and performance excellence. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Monitor resident health outcomes and adjust care plans as necessary. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Department of Health standards. Conduct regular audits of documentation and care plans to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage staffing, scheduling, and budget for the nursing department. Stay informed about current trends, technologies, and best practices in long-term care and nursing administration.

Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey (required). Proven leadership experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting (required). Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulations. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing nursing team. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, compliance, and resident satisfaction.
