This leadership role is ideal for a nursing professional with a strong Long-Term Care (LTC) background who can oversee nursing operations, ensure quality patient care, maintain regulatory compliance, and lead clinical teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities⢠Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing operations within the facility.⢠Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.⢠Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to maintain high standards of patient care.⢠Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes.⢠Monitor quality assurance, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives.⢠Manage staffing, scheduling, and operational challenges as needed.⢠Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to urgent clinical or operational issues.
Requirements⢠Active RN License (New York or Compact, if applicable).⢠Current BLS Certification.⢠Minimum 2 years of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.⢠Previous Director of Nursing (DON) experience is strongly preferred.⢠Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.⢠Ability to adapt quickly and lead effectively in an interim assignment.
Contract Details⢠13-week travel assignment.⢠40 hours per week.⢠Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility based on facility needs.⢠On-call responsibilities required.
