Job Description

Shine Your Leadership Skills at Avon Nursing Facility and Enjoy a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus! We are looking for our next Director of Nursing. The Avon Nursing Facility is a premier care home in Avon and a proud member of the family-owned Hurlbut Care Communities.
Key Responsibilities Lead & Inspire:
Direct and mentor a dedicated nursing staff, championing our incredible workplace culture while fostering a collaborative environment with the Administrator, Medical Personnel, and Department Heads.
Ensure Excellence:
Oversee clinical operations to guarantee full compliance with NYS and Federal regulations.
Network & Collaborate:
Connect with outside agencies (hospitals, insurers) and enjoy a supportive, collegial network with fellow DONs across our 11 sister facilities. Qualifications Active, unblemished NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license. Proven track record of successful managerial experience in skilled nursing. Commitment to the highest clinical standards, excellent customer service, and fostering a positive team environment.
