Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Livingston Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - 120 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility Columbia County, NY Join Our Leadership Team! Livingston Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about quality care, staff development, and making a meaningful impact in a skilled nursing setting. About the
Role:
The ADON works closely with the Director of Nursing to support daily operations, ensure high standards of care, and lead and educate our nursing team. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and confident in guiding and empowering staff at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the DON in managing nursing operations and maintaining quality of care Support regulatory compliance and effective communication across nursing staff Help meet the medical and clinical needs of all residents Coordinate and assist with planning nursing services Participate in staff education, training, and development Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new nursing staff Maintain flexibility to meet the changing needs of the facility
Requirements:
Current New York State RN License Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Long-Term Care setting Prior management or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Interest in geriatrics Flexible schedule required
