This role is ideal for a strong long-term care nurse leader who values quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and building a stable, supported nursing team.

Responsibilities:

Provide overall leadership and direction for all nursing services within the facility Ensure compliance with NY DOH, CMS, and federal regulations Maintain ongoing survey readiness and oversee plans of correction as needed Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management of nursing staff Lead infection prevention, quality assurance, and clinical audits Collaborate closely with the Administrator, Medical Director, and interdisciplinary team Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives Foster a professional, resident-centered nursing culture

Qualifications:

Active RN license in New York Prior Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility required Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, survey process, and clinical operations Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
