Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Luxor at Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center St.
James, NY Salary:
Up to $130,000 per year Full-Time | Comprehensive Benefits Package Luxor at Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing leadership team. This position is ideal for a strong clinical professional looking to grow within nursing administration while helping oversee the delivery of high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership team to support clinical operations, staff development, regulatory compliance, and resident care initiatives. Responsibilities Assist nursing leadership with the daily operations of the nursing department Support and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and adherence to facility policies Help monitor compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations Participate in staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and performance management Conduct clinical rounds and assist in resolving resident care concerns Support infection control, quality assurance, and risk management programs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes Assist with audits, surveys, and regulatory preparedness Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff Qualifications Current RN license in the state of New York Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards of care Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care Benefits Competitive salary up to $130,000 annually Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Career advancement and leadership development opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join Luxor at Mills Pond Rehabilitation & Nursing Center?
