Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will support the development and implementation of nursing strategies that enhance patient care quality, operational efficiency, and staff engagement. You will collaborate closely with senior management to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, foster a positive work environment, and promote continuous improvement across nursing services. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery Lead and mentor nursing staff to uphold high standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, including quality improvement initiatives Manage departmental budgets, monitor resource allocation, and optimize operational costs without compromising care standards Coordinate education programs and training sessions to promote ongoing staff development and compliance with accreditation requirements Ensure adherence to healthcare policies, licensing regulations, and safety protocols across all nursing activities Support management in staffing scheduling, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution to foster a motivated team environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred Valid nursing license in the relevant jurisdiction with current registration Proven experience in management or leadership roles within healthcare settings, ideally with university or academic hospital experience Strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and management of multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated expertise in education administration and teaching within clinical or academic environments Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams and drive organizational excellence Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, students, faculty, and external partners Join us to make a meaningful impact on healthcare education and patient outcomes! $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
