Description The University of Mount Union seeks tohire a full-time, 12-month tenure-track faculty member to serve as the Director of our School of Nursing, beginning May, 2026. Rank will becommensurate with experience. Responsibilities The School of Nursing includes a traditional undergraduate BSN program,an accelerated post-baccalaureate BSN, and a new MSN-FNP program. The Director of the School of Nursing provides strategic leadership forthe School, oversight of our developing graduate nursing program, program coordinators, directors, faculty and administrative staff. Theywill be responsible for maintaining program excellence, cultivating partnerships with healthcare entities and community agencies, managingenrollment, personnel and financial processes, and representing the school to both internal and external stakeholders. Teaching in serviceto both graduate and undergraduate programs is desired. Qualifications The successful candidate will hold the followingcredentials: Completion of an approved registered nursing education program in a jurisdiction as defined in paragraph (R) of rule4723-5-01 of the Administrative Code. Experience for at least five years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse, two ofwhich have been as a faculty member in a registered nursing education program. Experience with distance education strongly preferred. A master's degree with a major in nursing and an earned doctoral degree (FNP preferred). Current, valid licensure as aregistered nurse in Ohio.
