Your Role as a Director of Nursing (DON): Lead, plan, and oversee daily operations of the nursing department Supervise nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and CNAs Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures Monitor quality of care and implement performance improvement initiatives Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of nursing staff Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing team Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care Maintain regulatory readiness and lead state survey processes Foster a positive, supportive, and accountable care environment
What We're Looking For:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio Current CPR certification Minimum of 5 years of long-term care nursing experience, including leadership experience Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standards Proven leadership, decision-making, and team development skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong organizational and time-management skills Compassionate, resident-focused leadership approach Your Next Step Starts Here!
