Director of Nursing Eliza Jennings Home - 3.5 Cleveland, OH Job Details Full-time $95,000 - $115,000 a year 23 hours ago Qualifications Nursing department supervision RN License Long-term care facility experience Full Job Description Eliza Jennings, a nationally recognized leader in person-centered care, is seeking a full time Director of Nursing. Eliza Jennings Home is A Skilled Nursing Facility on the Westside of Cleveland, Ohio.
Job Summary:
Oversee and direct nursing services through the person-centered care philosophy and in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Duties:
Supervising and managing all clinical staff members Serve as the primary contact for outside providers, including attending physician staff and all ancillary providers. Maintain oversight of skilled nursing admissions. Lead clinical QAPI and Risk initiatives Oversee the collaboration of the MDS assessment process and required care plans and meetings Assure timely communication with families; oversee and/or participate in family care conferences Candidate must have acceptable ODH survey results and possess strong clinical knowledge.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday. Weekend Manager Duties, approximately 3 weekends per year. Clinical On Call Requirements. Eliza Jennings Home does have a nursing management team and nursing supervisors to also provide support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio Minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing leadership roles Previous experience in a long-term care setting required Computer proficiency with understanding of business, professional and industry related applications. Knowledge of PCC Platform. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment VISION (What we aspire to) Make aging the experience of a lifetime!
