Job Description

Overview Our client is seeking a dynamic Director of Nursing (RN) at a high-acuity skilled nursing facility/Senior Living Community dedicated to delivering exceptional care to residents with complex medical needs. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to oversee nursing operations, foster a compassionate care environment, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. Your expertise and management will drive quality outcomes and elevate resident satisfaction in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Lead and supervise nursing staff, including nurse managers and direct caregivers, ensuring effective shift management and optimal staffing levels. Oversee the development, implementation, and review of individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Foster a culture of continuous quality improvement by providing leadership for nurse management and direct care team members. Experience 3-5 Years of DON Experience. Proven experience in nursing home settings with a strong background in high-acuity, as well as respiratory and ventilator care. Demonstrated supervisory or supervising experience managing nursing teams within a long-term care or skilled nursing facility. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, manage clinical operations effectively, and implement best practices in nursing administration. Experience working with Medicare regulations and a history of good survey outcomes.
