Position Summary The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and promoting highquality nursing care. This role is ideal for a strong nurse leader who is handson, organized, and committed to staff development and resident outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing with daytoday clinical operations Support oversight of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Participate in staff scheduling, audits, and clinical rounds Monitor quality measures, incident reports, and clinical outcomes Assist with survey readiness, inspections, and plan of correction processes Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of nursing staff Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and residentcentered care Schedule FullTime position Administrative/clinical leadership schedule Occasional oncall or coverage support as needed Qualifications Active Ohio RN or LPN license (RN strongly preferred) Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a skilled nursing or longterm care setting Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of clinical compliance and survey readiness Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills Why Join Fountain View?
