Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a vital role in the overall management of our nursing team. As an ADON, you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in the supervision and coaching of our nursing staff, as well as ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support. Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures Provide guidance and support to our nursing staff to ensure that they are providing high-quality care to our residents Conduct regular rounds to assess the quality of care and observe best practices Develop and implement programs to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive care Participate in the development of the budget and monitoring of expenses for the nursing department
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff members Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
