Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team and oversee all nursing operations of our facility. As DON, you will be engaged with the Administrator to complete both short and long-term tasks. The DON will be tasked with sustaining a successful clinical team.. In this role, the DON is expected to interact with residents daily, while maintaining the facilities' regulatory obligation to the Ohio Department of Health. The DON has the responsibility for ensuring that the residents are provided with highest levels of quality clinical care, in a compassionate and safe environment. Our incoming DON will be set up for success with an already stellar team around her/him. We are able to provide regional resources to enable growth and success, while allowing our facility to operate autonomously. Qualifications Specific qualifications include the following: desire to achieve success, the ability to delegate tasks to nurse managers, the ability to adapt as facility needs change, experience monitoring quality measures, providing planning/guidance to achieve departmental goals, and the ability to successfully lead a team. The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of nursing management experience in long-term care as ADON or DON. The DON will report to the Administrator and have regular interaction with other members of the Corporate Team.
