As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, guiding staff development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. About the Role As a Director of Nursing (DON), RN, you will be responsible for: Leading the
Nursing Team :
Provide strategic direction and oversight to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and service.
Developing and Implementing Nursing Policies :
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards that support our mission and goals.
Maintaining Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance :
Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Fostering a
Positive Work Environment :
Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among our nursing staff.
Mentoring and Developing Staff :
Provide leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, mentoring and developing their skills and competencies. Requirements Current RN licensure in the State of Oklahoma (or eligibility for licensure) Associate's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a long-term care setting Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
