Job Description

Table Rock Memory is a premier Memory Care Community in Medford, OR and is seeking an Executive Director to lead our community to assure outstanding services and care, with satisfied residents, engaged team members while achieving occupancy and financial benchmarks. Table Rock is in substantial regulatory compliance and our census is growing!! Responsibilities are to provide prompt, friendly, and professional service which meets the needs of our residents. Services should be delivered in a caring manner, which maximizes the resident's independence, choices, dignity, privacy, and individuality. Because our residents deserve the best, you are held to a high standard for quality and customer service. You report directly to the Regional Director of Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assures adherence to community budget.
  • Assures a stable staff of optimal quantity and quality, by recruiting, hiring, supervising, evaluating, counseling, and, if necessary, terminating employees.
  • Assures all employees are consistently educated and trained, including fulfilling any federal and/or state regulations, through new employee orientation and regular education and training classes.
  • Assures service needs of all residents are consistently identified through initial contact, initial screening, and subsequent evaluation processes.
  • Assures service needs of all residents consistently addressed through the development and implementation of service plans.
  • Assures adherence to all department systems, so that the mission and goals of each department is reached.
  • Assures resident, employee, or physical plant problems that arise after usual business hours are addressed promptly and effectively, either by being personally available by telephone or by assigning other appropriate staff to be similarly available.
  • Network in the community to promote the community.
  • Assures the Regional Director of Operations is regularly informed of community status and particularly of any significant problems for which guidance is necessary.
  • Assures environment for residents in which the values of assisted living service are consistently promoted (choice, homelike, independence, privacy, individuality and dignity).
  • Complete monthly financial and/or marketing reports in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE and
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred.
  • Obtain and/or maintain Oregon Administrator License based on state requirements.
  • Knowledge of state regulations related to senior living. 3-5 years of experience in senior living preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, residents, employees, and the general public.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, electronic, or schedule form.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and address a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Proficient PC skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets and graphics.
  • Current driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Maintains the ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk the vast majority of the work day; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist, and reach.
