Qualifications:
RN license Minimum 1 year of Director of Nursing (DNS)/Management experience
Progressive Healthcare Leadership Experience:
3 years (Required) Skilled nursing or long-term care facility experience
Experience:
3 years (Required) Service-oriented (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor) Handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner Organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities
Job Overview:
The Director of Nursing Services (DNS) is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing nursing operations and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care throughout the facility. This position requires a strong commitment to excellence in nursing practice, effective leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of clinical protocols. The DNS is responsible for fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional development and adherence to regulatory standards. This position is ideal for an experienced nursing leader who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through effective management and innovative care strategies.
Duties:
Management level nursing position that maintains direct contact with patients and integration with patient care Responsible for coordinating, training, scheduling, and team development among the nursing staff Manages the continuing education of the nursing staff Maintains an ongoing quality assurance program Assists in planning the nursing services portion of resident discharge plans Leads others through actions consistent with and serve our culture Participates in facility surveys by government agencies Join a team leading change in the industry!
