06/06/2026 Description Director of Private Duty Nursing RN, Home Health - Pittsburgh, PA We are seeking a Director of Private Duty Nursing RN that provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and clinical direction for the private duty nursing program within a home health organization. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective care delivery to patients requiring intermittent or continuous skilled nursing services in the home setting. The Director drives program growth, workforce strategy, and clinical excellence while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific regulations. As a Director of Private Duty Nursing RN, you will provide: Program Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and optimize the private duty nursing service line Clinical Oversight & Quality Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in compliance with clinical standards and regulations Operations & Financial Management Manage day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, staffing models, and service delivery Regulatory Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., Medicaid, Medicare where applicable) Talent Management & Workforce Development Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality nursing staff (RNs/LPNs) Client & Stakeholder Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, referral sources, and payers Performance Metrics & Reporting Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as: Patient outcomes and satisfaction Staff turnover and vacancy rates Utilization and productivity Compliance and audit results What we offer our

To qualify for a Director of Private Duty Nursing RN with us: Education & Licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree (MSN, MHA, MBA) preferred Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of operation Experience 7-10+ years of progressive healthcare experience, including: Leadership experience in home health, private duty nursing, or similar healthcare setting Experience managing clinical teams and operations Strong understanding of PDN reimbursement models (e.g., Medicaid waivers, managed care) Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team-building skills Deep knowledge of home care regulations and clinical standards Financial acumen and operational management expertise Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environment At Interim Healthcare Home Care, our patients deserve the very best - that's why we focus on each individual's needs in the comfort and dignity of their home.
