Director of Nursing Services Confidential Harrisburg, PA 17125 Full-time Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing Services to lead our Personal Care team and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care. This pivotal role combines strategic leadership with hands-on management, fostering a compassionate environment that prioritizes resident well-being, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess experience in personal care and memory care, along with strong management and supervisory skills. As a key leader, you will oversee nursing operations, develop care plans, ensure documentation accuracy, and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. Duties Provide visionary leadership to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement. Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents, ensuring they meet medical and emotional needs. Supervise daily shift operations, ensuring efficient staffing levels and resource allocation to maintain high-quality care delivery. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including Medicare, HIPAA, state licensing laws, and accreditation standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care. Lead staff recruitment, training programs in nursing administration, supervising experience requirements including nurse management skills. Monitor quality assurance initiatives related to resident safety, infection control protocols, and care standards. Facilitate ongoing education on medical terminology, physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, and HIPAA compliance for staff development. Manage department budgets and resource planning while maintaining optimal shift management practices. Experience Proven leadership experience in nursing management within personal care. Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment rooted in leadership qualities that inspire staff engagement.
