Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Come join the team at WeCare Centers at Jameson Care Center! WeCare Centers at Jameson Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Assistant Director of Nursing / ADON for our community in New Castle, PA. Our ADON is an integral part of the care team that helps enhance the lives of our residence. Key Responsibilities Direct oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel. Guide staffing procedures. Organize and coordinate admission. Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed. Remain current with changes in regulations locally, state, and federal. Maintain records of all current antibiotic use, infections, and resident/employee vaccinations. Communicate with Medical Director and interdisciplinary team on facility quality metrics. Monitor and report communicable diseases to Department of Health. Monitor and preform employee performance evaluations related to infection control practices. Maintain communication with laboratory related to Bigram/Antibiogram reports at a minimum monthly. Report occupational exposer to infectious material. Manage record-keeping procedures. Collaborate with other departments and professional to streamline operations. Report to upper management. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Graduate of approved Registered Nurse (RN) Program. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in acute care/long term care setting. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania. Ability to lead and develop personnel. Knowledge of legal regulations.
