This is a leadership role with a great team and well staffed. Key Responsibilities Provide overall direction and leadership for the nursing department. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and CMS regulations. Oversee hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management of nursing staff. Lead quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness. Collaborate with the Administrator, physicians, and interdisciplinary team to achieve outstanding outcomes. Develop and manage staffing plans to ensure appropriate coverage. Build a positive, supportive culture focused on resident-centered care. Qualifications Active RN license in Pennsylvania required. Prior DON or ADON experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility required. In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations, PDPM, and survey processes. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to foster staff development and maintain a culture of accountability and compassion.
