The Resident Care Director is responsible for the development of nursing service objectives, performance standards of nursing personnel, and nursing policies and procedures . The role is accountable for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within his/her span of control and will periodically work the floor in order to monitor nursing staff , maintain nursing skills , and ensure adequate staffing . Requirements for the
Resident Care Director :
Evidence of a high school diploma or GED is required . Be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in PA with a minimum of 2 years' experience in long term care. Assisted Living Administrator Certification in the Commonwealth of PA is preferred . Working knowledge of medical record s software (PointClickCare is preferred ) , i nternet, s preadsheet , and w ord p rocessing software, and virtual meeting platforms. Registered Nurse (RN) CPR required based on AHA standards that include both didactic and skills component s within 30 days of hire . Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with team m embers, residents, families, professional providers, and all others.
