Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (D.O.N.) to lead our long-term care facility. Join Kinzua Nursing & Rehab , where excellence in care meets a culture of compassion.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff. Set and track departmental goals and objectives. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures. Oversee department budgets. Report directly to the administrator. Maintain high standards of care for all patients. Manage patients' data and medical records as confidential records. Communicate with doctors, patients, and family members about patient health. Schedule staff meetings for patient updates, issues, and recommendations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's of Science degree from an accredited college or university. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) 2+ years of experience in a healthcare facility or related setting Strong understanding of skilled nursing standards of care Must be able to think critically and adapt quickly to new situations. Good critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills
