Director of Nursing (RN) - Home Health (Startup Opportunity)

Pay:

$65 per hour Trust In Us Home Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Director of Nursing (DON) for our growing home care agency. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong home health experience, including knowledge of policies and procedures, AHCA regulations, and Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs). You will play a key role in helping establish a compliant, high-quality agency from the ground up. You will work closely with the owner throughout the startup process. We are looking to build a strong, collaborative relationship where communication, support, and teamwork are a priority. You will not be navigating this alone — you will have consistent support as we grow the agency together.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with agency startup and AHCA licensure/compliance Develop, review, and implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations Provide clinical oversight and guidance Support intake, assessments, and care planning processes Ensure readiness for surveys and ongoing regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

Active Florida RN license (required) Home health experience required Strong understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and home health regulations Experience with policy development and compliance preferred Prior supervisory or DON experience a plus Ability to work independently in a startup environment
