Interviewing Budgeting Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Regional Director of Resident Care (RDRC) is the nursing expert and resource for clinical, resident care and regulatory issues for communities in the assigned portfolio. The RDRC provides on-site and remote support to assure safe, quality resident care and compliance with all local, State and Federal regulations and Harmony Senior Services policies and standards. The RDRC provides training and education to team members as needed and supports the quality improvement activities of the assigned communities.
Essential Functions:
Provides oversight for the delivery of safe, quality care for residents in the assigned portfolio while assuring compliance with all local, State and Federal regulations and Harmony Senior Services standards. Maintains regular communication with all communities in the assigned portfolio and serves as the primary resource for questions and issue resolution, including assisting with move-in / move-out decisions. Escalates issues to the CNO or VP, Clinical Practice & Education as needed. Conducts comprehensive site visits in community AL/PC and memory care neighborhoods with the goal of identifying areas of clinical risk and assisting the HCD, AHCD, HSD and other community leaders to develop and document plans to mitigate risk. Maintains a working knowledge of all local, State and Federal regulations and Harmony policies and standards applicable to communities in the assigned portfolio. Provides clinical support for the State / Federal regulatory survey process. Assists with the review of plans of correction as needed. Assists with the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of new HCDs as needed. Participates in the comprehensive onboarding of new HCDs using a variety of training methodologies which may include on-site, remote, small group and other educational approaches. Collaborates with community Executive Directors to ensure team members' required annual training and compliance activities are completed. Supports the community with the execution of their At-Risk and QAPI meetings as needed, including attending in person, or via remote means when possible. Assists the community to identify trends and/or issues with key clinical indicators, assessment data, care revenue etc. to mitigate risk and support the development of performance improvement plans. Collaborates with the Regional Director of Operations and Operations Specialists to identify areas of opportunity for clinical and/or operational improvement and works with community leaders on the development of improvement plans. Monitors the execution and progress of improvement plans. Collaborates with the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing on strategies to promote census and occupancy growth. Provides supervision and oversight for the LPN HCDs and Senior HCDs in the assigned portfolio(s). Other duties as assigned.

Must be able to travel within assigned portfolio. Must be able to work occasional weekends, off-shifts and take calls after hours as needed. Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing. Current valid and unencumbered license to practice as an RN in all States within the assigned portfolio Nursing Years and type of
Experience:
3 years of nursing experience required; 5 or more years' experience preferred. Supervisory/management experience strongly preferred. Multi-site management experience strongly preferred.
Special Certificates:
Current CPR certification required
Skills & Abilities:
Experience in using electronic health records required.
