Provide oversight and direction to clinical team Make rounds with physicians, as necessary Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team Review care plans daily to confirm that appropriate care is being rendered Monitor residents' conditions and report accordingly Other special projects and duties, as assigned To join this team please have the following requirements: Primary series of the COVID Vaccine Required (or new bivalent COVID Vaccine or medical exemption) Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in Rhode Island Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required; Three (3) years or more years of experience as a unit manager/supervisor in a nursing care center, hospital or other related health care center on a subacute unit Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc. Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices strongly preferred Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work and team concept Strong communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public Must be available for rotating on-call schedule with other nursing leadership team Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to skilled nursing care facilities
Range:
$90k-120k / per year
