Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

As a leader in dementia care, we are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and dignified environment for residents at every stage of life. We're looking for a skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help build our care team from the ground up — and play a key role in delivering expert-level care to residents, including those living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

What You'll Do :

Support the Director of Nursing in managing day-to-day clinical operations Lead and mentor nursing staff with a focus on person-centered dementia care Oversee care planning and coordination for all residents Ensure compliance with state, federal, and community care standards Collaborate closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams Step in as acting DON when needed

What We're Looking For:

Active RN license in Tennessee 5+ years of experience in senior care or long-term care 2+ years of supervisory experience Knowledge of or passion for dementia care best practices Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills A desire to help build a strong, resident-focused care culture

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours Walking, bending, lifting up to 50lbs Emory Mills Senior Living is an equal opportunity employer.
