Position Summary The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing in managing nursing operations and ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care throughout the facility. Responsibilities Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing nursing services. Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance. Ensure compliance with nursing standards of care and regulatory requirements. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Coordinate education and training for nursing staff. Serve as acting DON in the Director of Nursing's absence. Perform other nursing leadership duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree or higher from an accredited college. Unencumbered RN license in the state in which we operate. Long-term care/skilled nursing management experience required. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
